Well you know me...I love music. Listening, playing, enjoying, discovering new artists, all that and more. So, Saturday night, Mrs. Funk and I ventured out to Mission Viejo to have a nice meal. And, an even better time listening to Bob sing and entertain the faithful. It was a very special night of music, fun and new friends. Thank you Bob and DeeAnn for your fine, kind hospitality!
I did indeed leave with a huge smile on my face. Looking forward to next time!

Another one of those.."I've been everywhere man"..moments! But, I'm back and..grateful.

Hey, I am always trying something new. Well, new to me! This is a video of the Rippingtons....Tourist in Paradise. That is what I felt like last week when I was in Florida. So nice to be with family.  So, hope this song and video come through. If not, I will adjust it shortly. Can you believe it? First day of fall was yesterday. I hope your year has been a good one, full of challenges and victories. More posts to come later today or tomorrow. Right now, enjoy the Jazz Cat and the Ripps...

Breakfast with Gary and Kelly...a Smile Fest and so much more...:)

Wow is the word of the day in my world! What a morning! Thank you everyone for coming and supporting the station and the music. What a crowd, probably close to 400 people attended the show today. We ate, great burritos BTW...visited, talked.  And yes, enjoyed the amazing music of Keiko Matsui. She is truly one of the most talented ladies around. Watching her fingers on on the keyboard was just incredible! As for me, seeing old faces, laughing, hugging, shaking a hand or two...you humble me with your friendship and kindness. Thank you.

We are taking October off so that Gary and Kelly can broadcast live from Catalina and the Jazztraxx Festival. In November, we will be back with a very special guest at the Norman P. Murray Community Center. Stay tuned to KSBR for details, dates and more.

Smile......it's September!!

The end of the summer! Hard to believe huh? But, I hope all your goals have been achieved. We are headed into wonderful time of learning, new adventures....for the kids as well as the adults. New challenges, it's the only way to look at our ever changing, evolving world. Process all the comes your way my friends with excitement, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to never stop learning.
